Paceline Paceline
Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how Paceline Growth Company LLC and its affiliates ("Paceline," "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when people visit our websites or use Paceline products and services, including Paceline Connect, Paceline Studios, and Paceline Talent.
Paceline Connect is a business-to-business creator access product. It helps brands and creators use official Meta authorization flows to share selected access to business assets such as Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts. We do not ask creators to share passwords with Paceline or with brands.
Information we collect
We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you interact with us.
- Contact and account information: name, email address, company, role, workspace membership, authentication identifiers, and messages you send to us.
- Brand and operator information: workspace settings, approved domains, request configuration, target Meta Business Portfolio details, request status, and operational notes.
- Creator and Meta authorization information: information returned through Meta’s official authorization and business tools APIs, such as app-scoped user identifiers, profile or display names where available, selected Facebook Page or Instagram professional account names/IDs, permission/task status, business asset relationship information, and verification results.
- Connection receipts and audit records: timestamps, request status, blockers, revocation/deauthorization status, and limited support metadata needed to prove whether a creator access request was completed.
- Device, usage, and security information: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, request metadata, logs, and security events.
- Payment and commercial information: billing, subscription, and transaction details when you buy services from us. Payment details may be processed by third-party payment processors.
Information we do not collect through Paceline Connect
- We do not collect creator Facebook or Instagram passwords.
- We do not ask creators to share login credentials with brands.
- We do not sell creator personal information.
- We do not intentionally store raw OAuth authorization codes, raw OAuth state values, or raw Meta API responses in public interfaces or operator-facing receipts.
How we use information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, secure, and improve Paceline services;
- authenticate operators and administer workspaces;
- create and display public creator access requests;
- initiate Meta authorization flows and verify whether requested Page, Instagram, or business asset access was granted;
- show creators and authorized brand operators the status of a request;
- detect abuse, debug errors, prevent fraud, and maintain audit records;
- respond to support, privacy, legal, and compliance requests;
- send service messages and, where permitted, product or marketing communications; and
- comply with applicable law and platform obligations, including Meta Platform Terms.
Meta data and tokens
Paceline Connect uses Meta’s official authorization products to request access selected by the creator or business user. If Meta provides access tokens or similar credentials that must be retained to operate the service, we protect that material using server-side access controls and encryption or equivalent production secret-handling controls. We do not display access tokens to creators, brand operators, or public pages.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- To authorized workspace members: for example, a brand operator may see whether a creator completed a connection, which selected assets were verified, and what blocker needs action.
- To creators: to show the request they are completing, the brand requesting access, and completion or revocation guidance.
- To service providers: vendors that help us host, secure, monitor, analyze, communicate, or process payments for our services.
- To platform providers: including Meta, when necessary to operate authorization, data deletion, deauthorization, security, or compliance flows.
- For legal and safety reasons: if we believe disclosure is required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to investigate misuse.
- In a business transaction: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including service operation, support, audit, security, legal, and compliance needs. Token material is deleted or inactivated when it is no longer needed, when access is revoked, or when deletion is required. Non-token audit records may be retained for a limited period where needed to provide support, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance by emailing privacy@paceline.co.
If you connected Paceline Connect through Meta, you can also remove the app from your Facebook or Meta settings, including Apps and Websites or Business Integrations. Removing the app may trigger a data deletion request to Paceline. You can find step-by-step instructions at paceline.co/meta-data-deletion.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to limit access to sensitive information and to prevent token, secret, and credential exposure.
International users
Paceline is based in the United States. If you use our services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate.
Children
Our services are intended for business users and creators who are old enough to use the relevant platforms and enter into business relationships. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and provide additional notice where required.
